During my Erasmus term in Czechia, live music was one of the things I missed most. In Turkey, I regularly went to concerts by underground and local bands, but there I felt completely disconnected from that scene. While I found venues that fit my taste, I had a limited group of friends and felt hesitant to go alone.

Four months into Erasmus, on a very cold winter day while walking through the Christmas market, my friend and I saw a band doing a soundcheck. We decided to stay and listen, and we absolutely loved their sound. Luckily, they had another concert the following week, which we went to as well. That day made me realize how great it can be to follow something spontaneously, even on your own.

I have been listening to Panoptikum almost every day since. It helped me overcome my hesitancy and added Czech rock to my playlists.
